Who compete in Miss All Star International?

Miss All Star International is designed for cheerleaders or girls who have been wanting to try cheerleading without the team commitment who are ready to showcase their athleticism, confidence, leadership, personality, and stage presence.

When and where is Miss All Star International?

Miss All Star International 2027 will be held August 5–7, 2027 in Wichita, Kansas at the Hyatt Regency Wichita. Our host hotel and competition venue are connected, making the weekend easy and convenient for contestants and families.

Who is the Miss All Star International director?

Gabrielle Grim is the International Director of Miss All Star International. With more than 30 years of combined experience in the competitive cheer and pageant industries as an athlete, coach, judge, choreographer, event producer, director, pageant mom, and volunteer, she created Miss All Star International to bring two worlds she loves together. Her vision is to create an experience where athletes are celebrated not only for their athleticism, but for their confidence, leadership, service, personality, and presence beyond it.

Do I have to win a local or state pageant before competing?

No! Miss All Star International uses appointed title, meaning contestants may register directly for Internationals and represent an available state, region, county, city, or approved country title.

Can I represent a country?

Yes. Country titles may be approved when the contestant has a legitimate family or cultural connection to that country. Country titles are subject to availability and approval.

Do contestants receive a crown and sash?

Yes! Every registered contestant receives a custom crown and sash featuring her appointed title. International winners receive our official custom Miss All Star International crown and rhinestone sash as part of their prize package.

What competitions are required?

Each contestant competes in five required areas:

Cheer Solo Routine – 30%
Interview – 20%
Fitness – 20%
Evening Gown – 20%
Community Involvement – 10%

These combined preliminary scores determine the contestants advancing to Finals, where the top 8 will recompete in Evening Gown. All preliminary scores + final evening gown score are added to determine the International winners.

What is the Cheer Solo Routine?

The Cheer Solo Routine is a 60–90 second individual performance showcasing the contestant’s skills, technique, performance ability, choreography, jumps, tumbling, dance, and overall showmanship. Routines are judged using an all-star cheer approach to technique and performance. Stunts are not permitted. Contestants can not compete in their regular all-star gym uniform.

Does my contestant have to tumble?

No. Tumbling may be included, but contestants are evaluated based on the overall quality and execution of their routine. Tumbling skills are not required. Athletes should perform skills appropriate for their individual ability level.

What happens during Interview?

Contestants participate in a private 2 minute interview with the judging panel. Interview is designed to allow judges to learn more about each contestant’s personality, goals, leadership, experiences, community involvement, and ability to communicate confidently.

What is Fitness?

Fitness is a stage runway competition focused on confidence, energy, athletic presentation, and stage presence. Contestants will complete an approximately 35-second stage walk in the designated fitness attire and tennis shoes/sneakers of their choice.

What is Evening Gown?

Evening Gown is stage modeling competition focused on elegance, poise, and overall presentation. Contestants will complete an approximately 45-second stage walk in a floor-length evening gown of their choice. We encourage contestants to select a gown that makes them feel confident and represents their personality.

What is Community Involvement?

Community Involvement allows contestants to showcase how they serve, lead, volunteer, or make a positive impact in their community. Contestants submit a short social-media-style 20-30 second video highlighting their community involvement. Examples include: filling a local blessing box, volunteering with a local organization, or donating to a little library.

Are there optional competitions?

Yes! Optional competitions provide even more opportunities for contestants to showcase their personality and talents. These competitions are not required. Optional competitions include: Casual Wear, Fashion Runway, Photogenic, and Academic Achievement

What is the Miss All Star International Leader title?

The Miss All Star International Leader is our 7th International Title. It recognizes the contestant who represent the complete mission of Miss All Star International through athleticism, communication, leadership, and service. The title is determined using combined scores from Cheer Solo, Interview, and an additional video entry showing their community service and leadership. This title receives the same prize package are our six age division winners. We are truly giving contestants two opportunities to compete for an International titles if they wish.

Do contestants who do not make Finals still participate in the Final Show?

Yes! Every contestant is an important part of our International weekend. All contestants participate in the Final Show and Crowning Ceremony, including our Parade of Gowns and final awards presentation.

Are rehearsals required?

Yes. All scheduled rehearsals during the pageant weekend August 5-7, 2027 are mandatory. We also provide designated Open Stage opportunities during International weekend for contestants who would like additional stage time to practice. Contestants may not access the competition stage outside scheduled rehearsal and Open Stage times.

Can my contestant compete in another pageant system?

Yes. Miss All Star International does not require a non-compete agreement for our International Queens. We believe our titleholders should be able to continue pursuing opportunities that help them grow. International Queens are required to return the following year to complete their reign and crown their successor.

Can contestants create social media accounts for their appointed title?

Yes! Contestants may create approved social media pages using their appointed Miss All Star title. Approved title formatting should follow the Miss All Star International branding guidelines provided to contestants. 

Where do contestants submit paperwork, photos, and competition information?

Registered contestants receive access to our online Contestant Portal. The portal serves as your hub location for forms, deadlines, handbook information, competition submissions, hotel information, optional competition registration, International updates, and more.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. Payment plan options are available. Please email our team at missallstarpageant@gmail.com for more information.

Are registration fees refundable?

No. All registration fees, appointed title fees, payments, and competition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration represents a commitment to compete at Miss All Star International.

Do we have to stay at the host hotel?

Contestants are highly encouraged to stay at our host hotel, which is conveniently attached to the competition venue. International weekend is exciting, but pageant days can also be long! There will be breaks between competitions and rehearsals when contestant dressing rooms will close. Staying at the host hotel gives your contestant a comfortable place to return to between events to relax, recharge, change, and prepare for the next competition without ever having to leave the property. While staying at the host hotel is not required, we strongly recommend it for the easiest and most enjoyable International weekend experience.

Can friends and family watch competitions?

Absolutely! Family, friends, coaches, teammates, and supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on their contestant. Show ticket information and purchasing instructions will be released to registered contestants and families.

Are hair and makeup services available?

Yes. Preferred hair and makeup artist will be available during International weekend. Contestants may choose to book professional services or complete their own hair and makeup. Booking information for our preferred hair and makeup artists will be shared with registered contestants.

Will professional photography be available?

Yes. Miss All Star International is proud to welcome Eva Flis Photography as our official event photography throughout International weekend. Photo packages will be available to purchase prior to Internationals. Additional photography opportunities, including headshots and portfolio sessions, are also be offered through our sponsored partners.

What does the International winner receive?

Our International Queens receive an extensive prize package valued collectively at over $15,000. The complete prize package is still growing and can be viewed on the Prize Package page of this website.
